Why pressed dog food?

Pressed dog chunks are easier to digest than crispy chunks. This is because they fall apart in the stomach, while crispy kibble sets up. The kibble (and the nutrients in the ingredients) are pressed together, which makes the kibble smaller than a crunchy kibble.
